Some new “things” that may (or not) appear in the movie Rise of Skywalker!

Hello Everybody, just a quick post with two images to show I can’t relax and have a few days off…after watching the new movie I tinkered in my workshop and came up with these…

Full colour articles and pictures on these two hilts will appear on FTSabersite very soon when the “spoiler-free” period ends for The Rise of Skywalker!

  1. Hey FT 🙂 I love these – it’s the first time I think I’ve seen sabers rendered in gold! They look very cool. I hope you enjoyed the movie, a lot of fans didn’t but that’s what you kind of expect in big fandoms these days. Have a good break and a happy and safe Xmas and New Year! 😁

    1. Hi JulieG, I enjoyed the film a lot, yes there were a few points that were clunky but considering what JJ Abrams had to work with he did well. I’m glad you liked the “golden touch” texturing on these hilts. This is actually a feature of Blender 3D used to preview models in real time as you build them, but I found out that you can capture images of your models just as you would the finished saber with proper textures!
