Carnage Lightsaber – A new weapon for Darth Krayt

Darth Krayt began his life as A’Sharad Hett, the son of Jedi Knight Sharad Hett and his mother a Tusken Raider. He was raised in the traditions of both the Jedi and Raider cultures. Krayt’s father was killed by the assassin Aurra Sing. He was also part of the Clone Wars where he befriended Anakin Skywalker in a bizarre twist (more on this later). This wasn’t the only conflict he was part of and years later he fought in the Yuuzhan Vong War, where he was captured, tortured and experimented on. The experiments nearly killed him but his knowledge helped him survive. However the toll on his body and mind pushed him to turn to the Dark Side. Darth Krayt as he renamed himself rose in power and became the leader of the One Sith. One of his followers and friend Darth Wyyrlok, betrayed him and left him for dead a second time. Many years passed by with society believing him dead, but again his knowledge and power saved him. He returned and reclaimed his position as leader which lead to a climactic battle with Cade Skywalker, descendent of Anakin and Luke Skywalker and final barrier to his domination of the Galaxy.

Through all this he used a Lightsaber fashioned from bone and I wondered after all that time what would a new saber for him look like. I designed one and this is it. I call this saber Krayt’s Carnage.

Sorry this post is on the long side but Darth Krayt has over 200 years of history to fit into a small post! Thank you for sticking with me this far and checking this saber out.

Darth Krayt and Cade Skywalker appear in Dark Horse Comics. Star Wars and related material are Trademark/©Copyright of Disney/Lucasfilm.
